⚡️ The God War: my first attempt at Marvel fan fiction

In the heart of Manhattan, a teenage mutant’s powers accidentally manifest, amplifying Franklin Richards’ reality-warping abilities and tearing a hole in existence itself. This catastrophic event reveals a terrible truth: the growing number of god-level mutants is causing reality to break down. Each use of their powers creates microscopic fractures in the universe, and now these fractures are spreading.

From the shadows emerge two factions with opposing solutions. Apocalypse returns, claiming only his guidance can control these powers and forge a new, stronger reality. The interdimensional corporation Landau, Luckman & Lake reveals they’ve been monitoring the crisis, proposing a managed pantheon of god-powers to maintain cosmic balance.

As the world’s heroes divide over how to respond, a desperate race begins to locate scattered god-level mutants across dimensions: the fractured personalities of Legion, the matter-manipulating Mr. M, reality-weaver Jamie Braddock, and others. Each new encounter risks accelerating reality’s collapse as the young mutant Echo unknowingly amplifies their powers.

The discovery of Nexus, a mutant who can heal reality’s wounds, and Cipher, who can rewrite its fundamental code, seems to offer hope. But when Franklin Richards leads a Children’s Crusade to unite the god-mutants against both adult factions, they discover a devastating truth: there can be no safe expression of their powers while Echo exists. They must either sacrifice an innocent child or give up their godlike abilities entirely.

In the end, facing reality’s collapse, these god-level mutants must make an impossible choice – one that will challenge everything Apocalypse and LL&L believe about power and evolution. THE GOD WAR is a 12-part epic about power, responsibility, and the price of saving existence itself.
