Open research projects

I’m really interested in this concept of ‘open research projects’ which I just encountered on the Association of Internet Researchers mailing list.

We recently launched our survey <http://digitallyliterate.net/announcement/tltsurvey/> to collect participant data. Click here to go directly to the survey.

We will follow-up with interviews of participants using survey data and snowball sampling.

This is an open research project. We are sharing the data collection tools openly online. We will also include our researcher notes in open blog posts on the website mentioned above. Finally, we will also share participant interviews openly online

Anyone know of other examples of this?

 1. I do not know of other examples of this, but I would be interested in how they share and negotiate their research ethics openly online. I am interested in what participants in such open online survey research look for in terms of reassurance of ethical practice before or while participating.
