For a long time it’s seemed the tendency has been to treat this in terms of the application of technology within specific subdomains, in a way that obscures the connections between them and their role in a broader institutional transformation. However the Covid-19 crisis has left digital technology more central than ever to the operation of the academy. Is this Platform University here to stay? How should we adapt our methodological approaches and scholarly practice to these new conditions? What does this mean for how we study higher education?
