Alas! My PhD which is so hard to explain in terms of the intellectual context of sociology would actually be rather easy if I were in a psychology department. I’ve spent the last 6 years conducting a case study of emerging adulthood in order to develop a critical realist approach to studying character formation over the lifecourse.
Am I in the wrong department……..?
