Welcome to my new blog. For a number of years now I’ve had a personal blog and a research blog but as my PhD has progressed they have got increasingly neglected. The former went into decline because I started to find it much more fun to turn what would be blog posts into articles for various websites, while the latter simply got squeezed out by my PhD fieldwork and freelance research work. Part of the problem was that trying to maintain two distinct blogs took up more time and I gradually stopped bothering to write on either. I miss blogging though. Hence the new site which is an attempt to get back into blogging  as a regular habit. I’ll post research related stuff here but also cultural and political ramblings which I might later try to develop into articles. I’ll also explore issues related to projects I’m working on because I suspect it’ll be very helpful in articulating the overall point  of things that I’m doing.
